Aschalew Wondie

Mr Aschalew Wondie is a resourceful professional with more than twenty years' experience in private, non-governmental, and public sector organizations, and is FES' representative in Ethiopia. He holds a Master's in Business Administration, BA in Management, and BSc in Biology. He has hands-on experience in implementing ISO certified food safety, quality, occupational safety, social and environmental management systems in compliance with international standards. His technical and management consulting experience covers a wide range of manufacturing, trade, hospitality and non-governmental sectors.

Aschalew has worked in senior leadership positions in airline catering, manufacturing and FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) trading companies. His experience includes providing consultancy services to USAID funded projects, Ethiopian Airlines and the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute.
